UP RTE Free Admission 2026-27 Online Application Process

The Basic Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has started the UP RTE Free Admission Online Form 2026-27 for Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Class 1 under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. The admission process will be conducted in three rounds, and the complete schedule has been released on the official website. The 1st round registration is open from 02 February to 16 February 2026. Eligible parents and guardians can apply online and should carefully check the eligibility criteria, important dates, and required documents before submitting the UP RTE application form.

Eligibility Criteria

Documents Required
Disadvantaged Group
  • Caste Certificate issued by the Tehsildar
Residence Proof

  • Tehsil-level Residence Certificate, Voter ID, Ration Card, MGNREGA Job Card, Passport, Driving License, Electricity Bill, or Water Bill.
Weaker Section (EWS)
  • Annual Income Certificate issued at Tehsil level or Antyodaya (BPL) card issued by the Food & Civil Supplies Department.
Child of Parent/Guardian suffering from AIDS, HIV, or Cancer
  • Medical Certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer
Orphan Child
  • Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
Child of Disabled / Elderly / Widow Pension Beneficiary Parent or Guardian
  • Certificate issued by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Health Department, or Social Welfare Department.
