JPSC Civil Services Pre Admit Card 2026 : Exam Pattern The preliminary exam will have two papers – General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT). Both papers will be objective type (multiple choice questions). Paper 1 is for merit ranking, while Paper 2 is qualifying in nature. Each paper will be conducted for 2 hours.
