JPSC Civil Services Pre Admit Card 2026 : Exam Pattern

  • The preliminary exam will have two papers – General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT). 
  • Both papers will be objective type (multiple choice questions).
  • Paper 1 is for merit ranking, while Paper 2 is qualifying in nature.
  • Each paper will be conducted for 2 hours. 
  • There will be negative marking for wrong answers as per rules of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission.
  • Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be eligible for the Main Examination.

  • Printed Admit Card issued by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. 
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License).
