The India Post GDS 1st Merit List 2026 has been officially released by the Department of Posts on 6 March 2026 for the recruitment of 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) vacancies. Candidates who applied between January and February 2026 can now check their selection status through the circle-wise merit list PDF available on the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The merit list contains the names of shortlisted candidates based on their academic marks. Applicants can download the state-wise list online and verify their results. Those selected in the first merit list will be called for the document verification process as per the schedule announced by India Post.
