• Science Stream:

  • 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics & English – 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

  • OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation, IT) – 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

  • OR 2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics – 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

• Other Streams:

  • 10+2/Intermediate in any stream – 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

  • OR 2-year Vocational Course in any stream – 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 01/2027 : Medical Standard

• Height: Minimum 152 cm (relaxation for NE, Uttarakhand, Lakshadweep).
• Weight: Proportionate to height & age.
• Chest: Male – 77 cm min, 5 cm expansion; Female – well-proportioned, 5 cm expansion.
• Vision: 6/12 correctable to 6/6; Hypermetropia +2.0D, Myopia -1D, ±0.5D Astigmatism.
• Hearing: Normal, can hear forced whisper from 6 meters.
• Dental: Healthy gums, minimum 14 dental points; no implants counted.
• General Health: Fit, free from deformities, chronic/communicable diseases.
• Female Candidates: No pregnancy during service; gynecological exam required.
• Tattoos: Only allowed on inner forearm, back of hand, or tribal tattoos; offensive tattoos prohibited.
• Other: No substance abuse; gender reassignment or major medical defects not allowed.
