East Central Railway Recruitment 2025 – Application Fee

• General Candidates: ₹500 (₹400 refundable on appearing in the trial)
• SC/ST, Women, Minorities, EBC: ₹250 (fully refundable on appearing in the trial)
• Payment via Indian Postal Order (IPO); IPO date must not be earlier than the employment notice date.

East Central Railway Recruitment 2025 – Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• 18–25 years
• No relaxation in upper or lower age limit.

East Central Railway Recruitment 2025 – Qualification

• Pay Level 4/5: Graduation in any discipline.
• Pay Level 2/3: 12th pass / Matric + Apprenticeship / Matric + ITI / 10th pass (Tech-III).
• Training: 3 years (6 months if ITI in relevant trade).
• Clerk-cum-Typist: Typing 30 w.p.m. (English) or 25 w.p.m. (Hindi) within 4 years.
• Pay Level 1: 10th pass / ITI / NAC (NCVT).

• Pay Level 4/5: Basic Pay ₹25,500/₹29,200
• Pay Level 2/3: Basic Pay ₹19,000/₹21,700
• Pay Level 1: Basic Pay ₹18,000
• ECR HQ/Hajipur: 10 vacancies
• All 5 Divisions (Dhanbad, Danapur, DDU, Sonpur, Samastipur): 25 vacancies
• Vacancies are under Sports Quota (Open Advertisement).
