The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 along with the exam date notice. Interested candidates can submit the UPTET 2026 online application form from 27 March 2026 to 26 April 2026 through the official website. Before applying, applicants should carefully read the official information brochure to understand important details such as eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, syllabus, exam pattern, and requirements for Primary Level (Class 1–5) and Junior Level (Class 6–8). Eligible candidates who wish to become teachers in Uttar Pradesh schools should complete the application process within the given dates.

UPTET Online Form 2026 : Eligibility Criteria 
TET Primary Teacher (Class 1-5)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with D.El.Ed (Final Year Passed / Appearing).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks or Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 45% marks or Master’s Degree with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a 4-Year B.El.Ed course.
TET Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8)
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks along with B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) (Passed / Appearing – Final Year).
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with 2-Year BTC (D.El.Ed) training passed.
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a 4-Year B.El.Ed course.
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a B.Sc.Ed course passed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks or Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of the required professional qualification are also eligible, subject to NCTE guidelines.
