UPTET Syllabus 2026 : Eligibility Criteria 

TET Primary Teacher (Class 1-5)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with D.El.Ed (Final Year Passed / Appearing).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks or Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 45% marks or Master’s Degree with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a 4-Year B.El.Ed course.
TET Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8)
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks along with B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) (Passed / Appearing – Final Year).
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with 2-Year BTC (D.El.Ed) training passed.
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a 4-Year B.El.Ed course.
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a B.Sc.Ed course passed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks or Master’s Degree in any subject along with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of the required professional qualification are also eligible, subject to NCTE guidelines.
