• Masters/M.Tech in Water Resources/Civil/Agricultural Engg./Hydrology/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & GIS with dissertation in Water Resources/Hydrology.
• M.Tech in Geology/Geophysics/Applied Geology/Earth Science/Geomatics/Remote Sensing & GIS with specialization/dissertation in Geosciences.
• M.Sc in Geology/Geophysics with PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS (B.Sc. in Physics/Maths/Chemistry/Computer Science).
• M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Geomatics/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/Computer Science/IT with Physics/Maths at Graduation level.
• M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch/M.Plan in Physics, Maths, Geography, Geology, Civil Engg., Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, IT, Architecture & Planning, Heritage Science & Technology.
• Masters in Agricultural Meteorology, Agricultural Physics, Plant Physiology, Agronomy, Environmental Science/Management, Forestry, Ecology, Remote Sensing & GIS/Geoinformatics.
• M.Sc in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Climatology, Environmental Science with Physics/Maths at Graduation level, or M.Tech in same with specialization in Atmospheric Science.
• M.Sc in Forestry, Ecology, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Wildlife Sciences, Biodiversity & Conservation or M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS with dissertation in Forestry/Ecology.

• JRF Stipend: ₹37,000 per month
• SRF (after upgrade): ₹42,000 per month
• HRA: Provided as per rules if hostel accommodation is not given
• Medical Benefits: Available as per existing norms
• No DA applicable
• Fellowship amount will be treated as basic pay for applicable purposes
