Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 : Age Limit
• The minimum age required is 18 years and the maximum is 22 years.
• For Navik (General Duty) – 01/2026 & 02/2026 batches: Candidates must be born between 01 August 2004 and 01 August 2008.
• For Yantrik – 01/2026 batch: Candidates should have a birth date between 01 March 2004 and 01 March 2008.
• For Navik (Domestic Branch) – 02/2026 batch: Candidates must be born between 01 August 2004 and 01 August 2008.
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 : Qualification
• Navik (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
• Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates should have passed Class 10 from a COBSE-recognized board.
• Yantrik:
1. Must have passed Class 10 from a COBSE-recognized board and hold a 3 or 4-year Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.
2. Alternatively, candidates who have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 from a COBSE-recognized board along with a 2 or 3-year Diploma in the mentioned engineering fields approved by AICTE are also eligible.
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 : Pay Scale
• Navik (General Duty): Receives a basic pay of ₹21,700 (Pay Level-3) along with Dearness Allowance and additional allowances as per the duty type and posting location, in accordance with current regulations.
• Navik (Domestic Branch): Offered a basic salary of ₹21,700 (Pay Level-3), plus Dearness Allowance and applicable allowances depending on job responsibilities and place of posting.
• Yantrik: Entitled to a basic pay of ₹29,200 (Pay Level-5), along with a Yantrik pay of ₹6,200, Dearness Allowance, and other applicable benefits as per duty and posting norms.
