Indian Coast Guard has released the Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2025 notification for 170 posts in GD and Technical branches. Eligible male candidates with a Graduate or B.Tech degree and Physics & Maths in 10+2 can apply online from 08 to 23 July 2025 at indiancoastguard.gov.in. The selection includes a written exam (CGCAT), medical test, and interview. Application fee is ₹300 (SC/ST exempted). • The recruitment is conducted in 5 stages: • Stage-I: CGCAT (Written Exam) • Online exam with 100 MCQs (English, Reasoning, GK, Maths & Science) • 2 hours duration • Negative marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer • Stage-II: Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) • Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT) • Cognitive Ability Test (CBAT) • Document verification & biometric • Stage-III: Final Selection Board (FSB) • Group tasks, psychological tests & personal interview • Conducted at Noida • Stage-IV: Medical Examination • Conducted at Base Hospital, Delhi • Appeal & review options available • Stage-V: Final Merit List & Induction • Based on CGCAT + FSB marks • Training at INA Ezhimala starts January 2027
